Primary Occupation: Freelance Illustrator
Products Used: Daz3D "Victoria 3" figure + V3 Morph Expansion Pak (Zombie) + "Jack Pumpkin" figure

- Poser 5 was used to create the basic renders (using different lighting set-ups)
- Photoshop 5 was used to blend and composite the various renders using Layer Effects.

Very nice. I like how you handled the reflections in the glasses.  I know how it is just missing the deadlines on contests, I had the same thing happen a few time.

So.. what were the sunglasses by BatLab called exactly? Every website I visit from a Google search is down. Daz3D of course, has had a decline for quite awhile.

They're a prop in a folder called "Shades" and they're called "Sungrass".

They were a freebie a million years ago. A lot of the Japanese poser sites have changed since then.

Thanks for all the feedback guys,

I didn't realise I placed in the comp til I came and checked out what the sudden boost in comments and favourites was all about.

October is a good choice!

I haven't seen "Nightmare Before Christmas" for many years, so I'll have to go check out this Deadly Nightshades connection...I saw Tim Burton's "Vincent" for the first time a few weeks back, which was awesome...

I'll have to catch up with Stephen King's "Man in the Black Suit" too: I've listened to audio books of his stuff for years while working at the computer (it's great that they're so LONG, gotten me through many an allnighter).

....
Special thanks to the person who said this pic "sucks beyond anything he's ever seen", heh heh: better to REALLY suck than just suck a little bit...that would suck

Cheers Everyone
(off to check the front page now and see what I've won!!!)

The bone structure of the forehead, the fingers and the smile remind me of Richard O'Brien (aka Riff Raff or Cosmo McKinley) in the best way possible of course! Great work!

This reminds me of several things. The Gentlemen from the Episode Hush in Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Leroux's Erik in The Phantom of the Opera; The Crypt Keeper; A character from R.L. Stine's Goosebumps; but most of all it reminds me of the Devil in Stephen King's The Man in the Black Suit.

Your talents are comendable and your technique wonderful to look at. In my opinion, the best entry of the contest. Bravissimmi.
